Studying Reiki in person offers something an online course cannot fully convey: the experience of receiving an attunement, practicing with another person, and discovering the work through your own hands. Each weekend includes the complete online course for your level, so you can prepare beforehand and return to the teachings afterward.

I have been teaching Reiki since 1998. My approach is grounded in direct experience, with time to practice, ask questions, and allow what you're learning to become something you can actually live. These two weekends are taught in a small circle in Berkeley, with live attunements given hand to hand, and your certificate issued and recorded by the school.
Reiki is both a healing modality and a spiritual practice.
Many people first come to Reiki because they want to care for themselves, support someone they love, develop their intuition, or explore healing work.
What begins as a technique can become a steady practice of presence, awareness, connection, and trust.
Reiki 1 is complete in itself. If the practice stays with you, Reiki 2 deepens it, and Reiki Master is taught inside the year-long Mystery School.

Reiki 1 is the beginning of your practice. Over two days you will receive your Reiki attunements, learn to practice on yourself and others, and give and receive a full treatment. No previous experience needed.
Includes the complete Reiki 1 online course, with lifetime access.
Reiki 2 (Okuden)
$500
Saturday and Sunday, 12 and 13 June 2027
Reiki 2 deepens an existing practice. We explore the traditional Reiki symbols, distance practice, and working more fully with others, with time for attunements, hands-on practice, and integration. Open to students who have completed Reiki 1.

What Makes This Training Different?
There are many Reiki courses available online.
I have practiced and taught Reiki since 1998. My approach is also informed by my clinical work as a licensed acupuncturist and by decades of study in Asian medicine, ceremony, meditation, movement, and energy work.
I teach Reiki as a living practice, not simply a collection of techniques to memorize.
You will learn the forms, hand positions, symbols, principles, and practical foundations. You will also learn how to listen, practice with integrity, and allow your own relationship with Reiki to develop over time.
The purpose is not simply to receive a certificate. It is to build a foundation that can continue shaping how you care for yourself and meet the world.
