I am grateful to have taken the Reiki Master course with Bronwyn. I feel humbled by the experience and excited on where this may lead my mission to help others through divine healing light. I will always be a student and will continue on this journey of learning and growing.Thank you to such a great teacher, Bronwyn, for all of the love, energy, and time placed into putting the messages and materials together, and thank you to her Spirit team for orchestrating all the beauty and divine energy that radiated throughout. I recently took a class with Bronwyn on the connection between Reiki and the chinese concepts of qi (or energy flows in the body), and I enjoyed it tremendously. Bronwyn is a very knowledgeable and inspiring teacher and the afternoon flew by all too quickly. We were not only presented with an overview of the cycles of qi in the body, but also with a reiki attunement and the chance to directly practice and experience what we had just learned.
Her studio space is stunningly beautiful and it added to the peaceful atmosphere of the class setting.

I am a Reiki student, only started recently with Reiki level 1 during a vacation in November 2010, so coming back I desperately wanted to continue here in the Bay Area and was lucky enough to find Bronwyn right away. I am fascinated with her personality, her warmth, her calm and gentle ways, and yet she stands there as a strong and powerful woman. After attending a 5-hour class with her at her beautiful home in the Berkeley hills on Saturday, Dec. 11, I must say that her knowledge about Chinese medicine, Qi and Reiki goes beyond my believe. I feel that I am just at the beginning and still have so much to learn, which is why I will continue at her center and will join her Reiki level 2 class in January. The setting of the center is just stunning with a gorgeous view of the Bay, nestled into nature, and you just feel the positive energy as you enter.
I can only highly recommend her to anybody who is interested in Reiki, energy work or body work.

I too recently met Bronwyn and as a Reiki level 1 graduate student who took the level 1 class in Kauai, I wanted to check her out to see if I should sign up for the level 2 Reiki class she teaches. I took a class on Saturday, December 11th with her and I believe there were about 10 other people present. It was a tremendous experience. I have signed up for the Reiki share and will be signing up for the Reiki level 2 with her.

Bronwyn is magic. From the moment I walked into her studio and smelled the wonderful aroma of mysterious herbs brewing, I felt like I have arrived at a place where the hustle and bustle of my normal life has left me behind. Time almost stops there. You really take a moment to take a deep breath and just be.
Bronwyn is my Reiki Guru. Through her way of teaching Reiki; Reiki has significantly enriched my life and my practice in ways I can't even list. She is extremely knowledgeable and educated in the healing arts with the fire and drive to always learn more. I am so grateful to have met such a beautiful and inspiring person.

So urges a Taoist saying. Bronwyn is such a centering person and has always been a point of light and wisdom to me. Seeing her as my primary doctor right now has brought a wonderful connection and noticeable, veritable changes in my being. I have worked on and off with Bronwyn Michaelis at different times in my life for the past nine years. As a healer, Bronwyn has helped me deal with addiction issues, emotional distress and at one point I was having fairly serious neurological problems. I was quite concerned with this issue as I was experiencing much numbing in my extremities. By integrating her healing modalities with my yoga practice and chiropractic work, I fully healed from that condition. Any time I was on her table, it was (is) like resting in a healing sanctuary. I would (and continue) to highly recommend Bronwyn to anyone for any physical, emotion or spiritual issue they may be struggling with.

When I first went to see Bronwyn, I was looking for a way to mitigate the effects of severe stress. The first pleasant surprise I had was that we started with a conversation. Bronwyn expressed genuine interest in finding out more about who I am and what made me want to come in to see her. And then the Reiki session that followed was astonishing. I left feeling deeply relaxed for the first time in months. We always begin with a talk. Bronwyn is warm, supportive, intelligent, and light-hearted. She cheers my successes and is compassionate about my struggles. She creates an atmosphere of complete safety and acceptance, which makes me feel better even before the Reiki session begins. As for the Reiki, I don't know how or why it works, or why it works for me. But I do know that I have received extraordinary benefits from it and that Bronwyn is a tremendously gifted practitioner.

In the sea of yoga studios and instructors that the Bay area is blessed with Bronwyn is a shining star. I've done quite alot of Hatha yoga on the East Coast and West coast, I'm a certified Soma (East) Yoga teacher as well and Bronwyn is by far the deepest, most well trained teacher I've ever experinced. The fact that she holds so much knowledge and expertise in such a young being tells me she's been doing this for lifetimes!

What an amazing woman! I was put at ease immediately. She listens and clearly understands what your body has to say. Her new place is amazing! What a great setting high up in the hills amongst the trees. Very peaceful with a million dollar view. I left feeling high. The power in her hands and body are strong but gentle. I'd see her every day if I could. Having said that, her rates are very reasonable for the service you get, especially compared to other practitioners of lesser quality. I'd give more stars if I could!

A friend of mine referred me to Bronwyn when I began searching for a Reiki Master to study with. I have now received both my Reiki I and II certifications with Bronwyn and I couldn't be more pleased with her as a healer and a teacher. She creates a grounded, safe enviroment to study in and has the loveliest little house. I highly recommend Bronwyn to you!

Bronwyn is knowledgeable, warm, proactive and sincere. I have learned so much about alternative health care and taking charge of my own health needs. She treats emotional and physical issues, big and small. She is also willing to see children, which is a bonus! She has helped me with my cycle, getting through some major life transitions as well as detoxing. Her classes are fun too.

I saw Bronwyn for acupuncture and Rosen bodywork. Though I've had many good experiences with acupuncture, I had never tried Rosen Method before and was skeptical. It is a very interesting process, more interactive than I expected, and the results were more immediately tangible than I expected. Bronwyn asks the right questions. After a few visits, I felt better physically and emotionally.

Bronwyn is a deep healer and a gifted instructor. I have taken multiple Contact Improvisation classes with her and her teachings have helped me both grow and become more refined as a dancer. She is steeped in knowledge but makes even the most complex concepts accessible. I look forward to taking her Reiki training as well.

Bronwyn's reiki and yoga body work is incredible. I originally sought her for just acupuncture, but ended up falling in love with her rosen method, foot baths and herb nutrition work. Bronwyn's work really encompasses the best body work you can receive. Her body work center is gorgeous! You walk through a beautiful garden, into a fabulous house that feels warm and inviting. I've since moved from Berkeley to Half Moon Bay, and I miss her every week! I highly suggest working with Bronwyn to increase your health.

I took my almost 9 month old baby to Bronwyn for some acupuncture to try to help her sleep better. As a mother it gets tiring waking up every two hours with your baby Night after night. She was very gentle and my baby didn't even notice while she was being treated. Bronwyn is very loving and compassionate, we always enjoy being in her presence and visiting her little temple on the hill. She is very thorough and asks a lot of questions to ensure the best outcome possible. After three nights my baby is sleeping much better!!! Bronwyn is amazing! I came to her to get Reiki for my insomnia. My Reiki experience with Bronwyn exceeded my expectations. I looked forward to my sessions with her all week. She creates such a safe, warm, restorative environment, it was magical! She was so in tune with the energy in my body, I could feel the connection and impact immediately. I met Bronwyn at Claudio Naranjo's SAT1 retreat in March 2014 where she taught a movement class. I learned so much from this class. There was an emphasis on natural movement rather than forcing alignments in an artificial way. The natural movement was an acknowledgement that everyone's body is unique and no one alignment suits all. Bronwyn led me to tune into my own body and the class was very experiential: the deepest learning came from our own experiments with our own bodies. Bronwyn made a lot of effort to educate us on how the body is designed, using a 3D skeletal model and explaining how the bones and tissues connect. I learned a lot and look forward to learning more in the future.

I found Bronwyn to be a very professional and highly skilled Rosen therapist and acupuncturist. I had a problem with my jaw that my dentist told me I needed to have broken and re-set in order to fix. After my first session with Bronwyn, my jaw was realigned and I no longer have any problems with it. I had not even asked for help with that. She was able to see that there was something blocked in that area and then released it. It was an incredible experience and I will always be grateful for the help I received from her.

I've had the pleasure of working with a handful of true healers in my life and I can wholeheartedly say that Bronwyn rests strongly amongst them. Bronwyn has a open, calm, compassionate demeanor and a peaceful presence that provides space for healing at the deepest levels. She is knowledgeable about a variety of healing modalities and understands how to apply her knowledge in a intuitive, thoughtful manner. I experienced healing through both Acupuncture and The Rosen Method. I hadn't tried The Rosen Method prior to my experience with Bronwyn and found it to be incredibly helpful on my healing journey. I gained multiple "a-ha!" insights that had otherwise been hidden to myself and had huge shifts in releasing long-held tension and pain. Bronwyn's ability to sense, connect and release this tension was unparalleled. She has the hands, heart and mind of a healer. Bronwyn's Acupuncture sessions allowed my body to rest in parasympathetic state while it re-tuned back into balance. I found that sessions kept my body in a more calm and relaxed state long after the session and that I gained the ability to hold these benefits more and more as time went on. This was a great change for me as my body typically fell out of balance fairly quickly prior to seeing Bronwyn. As a contemporary dancer I've also enjoyed Bronwyn's Axis Syllabus classes. Her knowledge of mind-body connection, energy, seasonal-cycling and anatomy foster a class that reaches into multi-level bodily experiences. Bronwyn was the first alternative healer I saw after a series of traumatic events with Western Medicine. The inspiration and guidance I received from our sessions and her wisdom sharing are what set me on my deeper healing path and planted the seeds of womb and feminine health earth work that is now my soul work and blossoming in my life. I started seeing Bronwynn about 3 yrs ago. Initially I went to address sciatica problems I was having that caused tremendous pain. I developed severe lower back problems after a car accident. The sciatic pain was so severe it was difficult to walk a block. She began with Raki session which released negative emotional energy I hadn't realized I was holding onto. Then she provided acupuncture. Each session I felt a sense of partnership with her that was different from other practitioners I've seen. It's been three years and I have not had one recurrence of the pain. No other services, to include Dr.'s, were able to help me with the problems I had been having since a car accident in 2004. I can't say enough about how incredible my journey with Bronwyn Ayla has been. I started by going to see her for Reiki and acupuncture over a year ago and was so impressed with her and the results that I also signed up for her Wu Wei School of Reiki. The Wu Wei School of Reiki has been life changing! It has helped me to dive deeper into a sacred place of incredible transformation and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bronwyn is a highly energy sensitive and wise person. She truly practices what she preaches and does a beautiful job at it. As a person going through a spiritual awakening myself I can recognize someone who is attune with spirituality and their life's purpose. I attended her online Reiki course during covid and learned great amounts not only about Reiki but also about knowledge that could have otherwise taken me a really long time to stumble upon or figure out. The lessons are filled with valuable information that anyone on a spiritual journey can benefit from.
