Awakening Presence
I’ve spent nearly three decades working with people at the intersection of Asian medicine, awakening, embodiment, and energetic practice. Some come for clinical care. Some come to train. Many come at a threshold — when something important is shifting and they want a grounded way to meet it.

Choose Your Rhythm
For over 25 years, I’ve served a wide range of people in the Bay Area through integrative care that can include acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, nutrition, and bodywork.
My orientation is practical and whole-person — supporting vitality, resilience, and the conditions that allow healing to unfold over time.

Teaching & Lineage
I’m the founder and director of the Wu Wei School of Reiki, where I’ve trained students from beginning levels through Master training since 1998. My teaching is rooted in traditional Reiki and Japanese techniques, informed by East Asian medicine, and oriented toward ethical, grounded formation.
Over the years I’ve taught in colleges and clinical training environments, and led trainings internationally — including ini India, Spain, and the UK.

Embodiment
Movement has been one of my primary teachers. I’m devoted to dance as a practice of presence — a way the body learns timing, truth, boundaries, and aliveness.
This thread shapes everything I do: the body is not separate from transformation — it’s where transformation becomes real.

A Bit More Personal
Originally from South Africa, I’ve lived, worked, and studied internationally, and I read and write Hindi, Hebrew, and Spanish. These experiences shaped my respect for cultural lineages — and for the grounded reality of integrating spiritual practice into everyday life.
I live in Berkeley with my daughter, Nymue. I love dancing, gardening, making pottery, and spending as much time as possible upside-down.
