Reiki Certification or the Mystery School? How to Choose Your Path

People often ask me which is right for them: learning Reiki through certification, or joining the Mystery School. They are different things, made for different moments in a life, and many people do both. Here is what each one gives you.
Reiki certification: learning the practice
Certification teaches you Reiki. You receive the attunement for each level, learn its practices, and receive a certificate at each level. With me, this is the online Complete Path, from Reiki 1 through Master, at your own pace.
Certification is a good fit if you want to:
Give Reiki to yourself, your family, and the people and animals you love
Learn at your own pace, from wherever you live
Become a certified Reiki Master
Build a daily practice you can keep for life

The Mystery School: a year of depth
The Mystery School is a 12-month apprenticeship with me. Reiki is the vehicle. Awakening is the deeper subject.
The work opens through three doorways:
Spiritual formation. Initiation, immersion, prayer, consciousness, and ceremony. This is the path of becoming more fully who you actually are.
Practitioner training. For those who feel called to practice professionally. Through the year you deepen your ability to trust what you sense, respond to what is moving in a session, care for your own nervous system, and hold healing work with confidence, skill, and integrity.
Teacher training. For those who feel called to teach Reiki in this lineage, alongside me.
The Mystery School is a good fit if you want:
A teacher and a circle to walk with for a year
To practice Reiki professionally, or to teach it
A path about who you are becoming
You do not need Reiki training to join. Reiki 1 through Master is part of the school.
Many people do both
A common path is to begin with the online course, live with the practice for a while, and then feel the pull toward something deeper. Each one meets you where you are.
Is online Reiki certification legitimate?
Yes. Reiki is not bound by physical distance, and attunements given at a distance work. What matters most afterward is that you keep practicing. I explain this fully in How to Become a Reiki Master Online.
